If you’re transitioning to veganism full-time or you’re just beginning your foray into healthful cooking and eating, the idea of building your pantry is something that comes slowly with each recipe. To help expedite the process, I’ve decided to give you a peek into my pantry. While I’m not ‘completely vegan,’ I am mostly vegan at home. And this list has come over the course of nearly a year of conscientious cooking.

I hope this list serves much like Angela Liddon’s Oh She Glows Vegan Pantry page, as an easy reference guide to the ingredients that I use most in my vegan cooking, and that, if stocked, can help one to cook often and well without too much stress going into each meal (or last minute, semi-frantic trips to grocery stores!) I hope that this list will be inspiring as you build your own pantry and begin to develop your own favorites.

It’s definitely true that once you have your foundation, your pantry stocked, the rest just about falls into place. All you have to do is bring everything out, pick up your fresh seasonal veggies and fruits — and there you have it — vegan goodness!
